If you are looking for a great hunting spot near civilization, this is it. Located in Northwestern Wichita County Texas just a mile and a half from the town of Electra. With approximately 106 acres of native pasture with mesquite cover and 75 acres of cultivated land, this would make a very hunting or cow/calf place. There are two recently cleaned out earth tanks and a city water meter will be available on the SE corner. Also, electric service is available. Possibilities of wildlife include whitetail deer, turkey, wild pigs, dove and quail. Located just off US Hwy 287 in Electra, then take highway 25 north 1.2 miles to Old Lake Road then .75 miles.
The Pease River Ranch is a North Texas combination cattle and hunting property in Cottle County. This property is accessed by Hwy. 83 with one mile of highway frontage. The property is located just 17 miles south of Childress and 13 miles north of Paducah.
The topography is outstanding with large canyons and wet weather creeks that have been untouched for the wildlife habitat in this area. The tops and the river bottom have been grubbed and larger trees left for roosting and shade. The fences are in good condition.
There are 3 water wells with one producing 600 gpm, another producing 200 gpm, and one solar well with electricity in place.
The wildlife is outstanding with mule deer, whitetail, and turkey and plenty of varmints.
Two sets of pens are in place for cattle and 1 pond that is less than an acre in size. The brush species are mesquite, hackberry and cedar. Come take a look at the breath taking views on this property, you will not be disappointed.
